- Someone with legitimate access voluntarily pasted information into a public service.
- The data was sensitive but not classified at the highest levels.
- Public AI services may log inputs and reuse them in model behavior.
- Internal alerts were triggered because governance failed, not because systems were hacked.

Why Blocking AI Tools Fails
Many organizations respond to AI risk by blocking access to public AI platforms. On the surface this seems logical.
